In the world of fitness, there isn’t much that Eve has not accomplished. Since a young age, Eve has competitively displayed her athletic prowess at a multitude of sports: softball, track and field, volleyball, and even wrestling. She would go on to wrestle for a qualification to the Olympic Trials and play volleyball in college on a scholarship.
During her adult life, Eve dabbled in everything fitness related from triathlons to amateur bodybuilding.
Eve studied Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology at Furman University in Greenville South Carolina and holds various fitness certifications. Eve’s lifelong passion for fitness, her education, and experience enabled her to work and develop programs for athletes of all ages. It would not take long before Eve would stumble onto CrossFit.
Why does Eve do CrossFit?
Seeking a change in her normal routine, she would try a CrossFit WOD with her fiancé. Eve soon realized that this is far superior to anything she’s ever experienced. Eve is an incredible motivator and group fitness coach who loves supporting others toward achieving their fitness goals, both physically and mentally. She brings to ITB a warm smile, cheerful positive attitude, intense energy, and is enthusiastic support of everyone in the gym.
Advice to Athletes:
Show up and be ready to work. Relentlessly commit to the [movement, lift, etc.] each and every time.
Her favorite WOD is Annie. She loves Annie Sakamoto and her WOD’s about all the cardio Eve's little lungs can take (her words not ours!).
She also love anything with the barbell that involves Clean & Jerks and Snatches. (OLYGRL)
